Nice little machines. Great power and has no problem keeping up with Polaris rzr 900's. Only things I would prefer is a little more leg room, they are on the smaller side. Also air intake is placed low on them. If you are doing any mudding a snorkel kit is recommended. Also 2016's and up Wildcat sports got a 10% hp bump.

The one I'm looking at is all done up and has the snorkels. I was looking at getting the EVO stage 3 kit. They claim 11 HP on premium fuel
Ran a 14 Trail with stage 3 with 91 octane for about 1500 km’s.
Pros:
-Good power/weight ratio, faster then a commander 1000
-durable/reliable powertrain/clutched, has 0 issues for close to 2000 km that I owned it
-doors stock, put in plastic bottoms for cheap to block off
-
Cons:
-bushings are non greaseable & will wear out at some point. I had to replace all mine with aftermarket and it was a good amount of work
-Polaris machines are better though out for maintenance/access, although Trail ain’t bad
-lack of leg room, I have long legs and generally need a break every hour
-tiny bed hardly fits a cooler
-on my Trail Shock Springs sag but bought replacement springs for $300 that were much better
-intake is low as mentioned, also gets dusty easily so clean that outer filter after each ride

Have a 2016 sport ltd, we love it other then little lack of leg room as posted, but with the amount the old lady stops lol... can get out and stretch. Power is good , had to put a-arm shims in as it had a funny clunk from new which was from them banging front to back, and the temp sensor sh+t the bed which was warranty. Elka stage 5's handle it all. About 2300 km's, just put on some 27's which seems to fit nice.

Just bought a 2015 sport limited with 500km on it and about $3000 in accessories, figure I got a decent deal at $10k? Any opinions on aftermarket exhaust? Was thinking speedwerx, what’s everyone else with these using? Also what snorkel kits are people putting on them? Gonna throw a set of bead lock wheels and some 28” blackwaters as I’ve heard good things about them. Haven’t had a summer toy in 4 years so happy to be back in the game, never owned a sxs either as I was a quad guy before but the wife hates driving quads so a SXS it is lol

I bought a used Trail last fall and think it's going to be a fun little machine. Mine came with 28" tires a lift kit,1/4 windshield and an EPI clutch. I'm 6' tall and don't mind the leg room but find the cab a little narrow. The cab can get warm to so I put a couple vents in the spark plug to help get rid of the heat and a couple in the firewall for the chilly mornings which work pretty good.
They have been known to brake the park pawl as well as stick in gear when warm. I put an ebrake on mine for the park issue and have only had a couple times where it didn't go into low the first try but did after that. I bought a snorkel kit from Snorkel Your ATV (I think was the name) but didn't like it so I used their risers and did it how I wanted it. I also bought the Garage Product bushings which I heard were the best. Mine has 700KM and had no wear on the original bushing so for now I just changed the rears. Easy Ryde makes a good Muffler for these machines which is suppose to give 10HP. Gutting the original is supposed to help as well.

As mentioned get aftermarket bushings mine were shot at 600km. Try gutting your exhaust first, open up rear of it and drill it out to brake it apart.
Ezryde is quiet exhaust, don’t get Turbo Dynamics, got too loud for me.

Ya I’m definitely changing the exhaust to aftermarket, booked in for 3 recalls as well, a arm bolts, firewall and shield and winch solenoid, where is a good place to buy a bushing set? Or any good online places to order from? Been away from summer toys for awhile so kinda out of the loop lol

I bought from the guy that makes “AJ’s bushings” from a guy on Arctic Chat forums years ago don’t remember the brand. At least have the bushings on hand for when the stock ones get sloppy.
I ran the Stage 3 kit (tuning, exhaust, air filter) on 91 octane and overall I don’t think it was worth the coin. I would just do muffler or guy the stock one if I did it again. Sold my Wildcat Trail a year and a half ago after owning for 3 yrs, great machine.
