One accessory i noticed in the book is the wireless heated goggles. What can you say about them? I have rode 509 goggles for the past few years but no matter what i do they fog up. As well i noticed the sp summit you mentioned they had white rails or black. I am ordering a t3 163". Will they come with coloured rails as well?

Couple of guys in my group run them and apparently they are amazing. Never any fogging
And snow just turns to water you can wipe off. They are NOT wireless. By that they mean no wire to the snowmobile but you have a battery pack in your jacket that goes to the goggles. We thought the wire would be a problem but it's actually not. They are very impressed and say they won't ride without them now on those overcast deep days where goggles are constantly an issue. The only bad thing is the lenses only have one option which is clear no tint. Also I can imagine replacement lense is likely as much as the goggles were originally

I use Oakley goggles as they are the best in winter conditions and never fog, however there are reasons for fogging. I am a very fit guy so I sweat less and work less hard so this helps with less fogging, also goggle management is key, when you stop, take them off, hang them so front of lens is up so no snow gets in them, then when your ready to go start your sled and putting them on should be the last thing you do...I have not tried the heated ones and have no need for them, another thing you can do is get the new goggle holder for your ski foo and put a spare pair in there and switch them out...the rails, spindles and brake cover are not painted, to save weight on the T3

Thanks for the input i have been riding with goggles for the past 12 years i have all the tricks and tips you mentioned. The goggle bag is nice but you have to leave them in for some time before they completely dry out as there always seems to be humidity left in between them. These are on brand new 509 sinisters. Ive tried different balaclavas and no balaclava still same results. Im strictly talking about the overcast/snowy/foggy days that maxwell mentioned. Maybe i will switch it up to Oakley goggles thanks

I use the heated goggles and they work great, but as stated they are not wireless, you can plug them in to a heated visor jack on your sled, which is what I do or have a battery pack strapped on your arm or in your jacket either way they work great and the cord is not an issue !
