Just some quick uploads and videos ready soon! Today we had hard packed ice which hardly softened during the day so it was good testing for side hills and control of the 174, it passed with flying colours, everyone was blown away at how easy this 174 is to ride and it had loads of power!!!!

Nice pics Dave. Is it just me or do the lower a-arms has a different profile than previous years? I can't remember a bend in them near the back/lower mounts..thought they came straight off at an angle.

Nice pics Dave. Is it just me or do the lower a-arms has a different profile than previous years? I can't remember a bend in them near the back/lower mounts..thought they came straight off at an angle.
Its the opposite, the lower a-arm goes from same point on sled to same point on lower ball joint however previously it had a lower cast part so it came off the ski ball joint and went down then up at a steeper angle to the sled, now it goes straight off, this is why there is 20mm bigger ground clearance...

Nice shots. Some feedback for BRP. If it only comes in that canary yellow then a guy would have to shop for something else. lol

Bert, that color is for the younger generation! They have a black/red combination for us ol' farts but neither come with the option for ES (we have to pay for that now and I don't like that part of the equation!).

Thanks for sharing Dave. If you at 125#(isn't that how much you said you weighted?) can get that sled up on it's side like that, I'm sure the T3 will be a game changer!

Keep checking the website Bert but they were supposed to have the new color uploaded the first of the week.

So did the attack angle seem to be an issue at all? Does it appear to be as steep in person as it seems in the pictures? Just curious if it trenches more than the previous xms.

And with the rear suspension mounting points being lower, and having a higher front end.......does it feel like it wants to correct itself back onto its feet because of the higher center of gravity? In the one marketing video when it first came out it kind of seemed like this was happening, but hard to tell 100% from a video.

How does the 3 inch compare to the 2.5 in marginal snow conditions? I dont expect it to be better, but is it at least as good?

When you get on the sled you definitely feel higher at first but that goes away after the first 20 minutes, the sled rides better in every way than the previous xm, no issues at all..the sled did not trench it was boiler plate and you can walk it up anything...when your riding it u dont even notice your on a 174 over a 163....the 154 we had was trenching on the same side hill under exact conditions...we would ride the t3 then a 163 summit xm then a 154...it is where you can see the difference...

Is that how the front cooler is/has always been mounted? I think the OCD in me would want to center it at the very least.
