2015 assault track tension

i just picked up my 2015 assault yesterday and i was wondering what everybody is puting their track tension at

Second that, go by polaris instructions.

there was a huge thread about this on snowest. the looser the track the way the lugs hit the snow is different.....may be ok with small lug tracks but if you get alot of looseness of the track off the drivers as it goes down the rail tips the lugs could be angled back or angled forward and hit the snow not as intended for the track design....Its a long shot this would happen but could take away from the pros ability to get up on the snow as well as it does.

ok i was just wondering cause it seems tight but its at what the manual says, my last sled i ran the track looser and no problems but I'll run it the way the manual shows

Just curious, but what does the manual say for track deflection?

The 2011-15 Pro-Rmk/assault track tension with 10 lbs placed 16in ahead of rear axle shaft is 3/8-1/2".

It is darn tight when up on a stand but you have to remember when you put it on the ground it loosens up as the suspension compresses a little.

Plus a new track will stretch a little with some miles on it.
