2015 / 2016 Blue River Conditions

Rode Salmon today. Snow was good. Not super fresh, but deep and soft enough. I would recommend this place right now. Access is good.

Coming into Vale this weekend, have never been to Blue River. Where can I find info on where to ride?
Or better yet, anyone riding saturday and want to show a couple new to the area guys around?

You could either stop in at the glacier hotel in town and they will give you the trail maps. Or you could drive 15-20kms south of blue and look for the finn Creek sign. That's where you will pull in. From there you can ride groundhog east and west, foam Creek, or Salmon.

Rode Salmon yesterday. Blue bird and the snow was awesome for this time of year. There is a good base with some nice powder on top to make for some great tree riding.

according to the AST1 training I took Hoars are bad. I can believe he stuck his probe into that Hoar.

This storm snow is sitting in a sensitive weak layer with a lot more snow in the forecast this week.

No, BRPPS is waiting on enough valley snow to build the bridge that will allowing the cat to access Foam.

Currently pouring rain in the valley floor and dumping in the alpine, groomer reported over 1 meter of fresh snow on the trail into groundhog this morning.
