Not really a doo guy but those look pretty sharp. As far as a 1000 goes, the weight doesn't justify the power.

How much more could a 1000cc engine way over an 800cc? 5 pounds? 10 pounds? If thats all its totally worth it. And i like that orange and comes with fox shocks?

Don't expect it to come with the floats. Just some parts out of the accessory book on that one. Maybe snowcheck option

Motor to motor the RT 1000 motor was almost exactly 20Lbs heavier then the 800. But it was the rest of the sled that pushed it so much over the top. The chassi was alot heavier because it was reinforced to handle the 1000 and the electronics on the RT added alot of weight, it was loaded with wiring.
So the point here is it's not just the motor weight that comes into account but everything else that goes with the larger motor.
In the case of the RT it added up to approx. 50Lbs more weight to an equivalent 800. An 06 800X with a Ptek and 162 track scaled at about 520Lbs at the time.

If Doo installed a 1000 i would expect atleast 30-40Lbs more weight with all production parts accounted for.

ya only problem is they are going to have to start making a 10' box for a 11' deck for everyones 174 monsters!

Yeppers....however many will love this new problem.
Question: will the sled come with quick disconnect wiring so you can plug in the sled tail light when hauling on a deck...overhang will be huge...lol

Al good question and NO he don't drive a jack up truck with white oakleys lets not make It a Alberta B.C thing .I thought Willie was Gone.We travels off highways roads to get to are mountain.No crowds in the parking lots I can even leave gas can in the back my truck Lol
