2015 154 freeride to a 165x3?

i want to extend my freeride to a 165x3. currently its a 154x2.5. anyone done this?

what size drivers will i need. not doing a drop an roll.

i know i will need rails.track,sliders,gears ect just hung up on he size of drivers to go that will clear m heat exchangers

going with stock doo 165x3 track

they do, but they have smaller drivers also. won't have as much clearance as with a t3, but still works. it's been done lots before.

if you are doing a 163 (xm T3 track) order a driveshaft from a 2016 T3, comes with 7T drivers, track, rails, sliders, clutching and gearing, when I took my 14 freeride up to a 156 3" camo extreme I also did SHR (sled head racing) skid relocate moves the skid down and back approx. 1/2" helps the attack angle a lot.

If your using a 2017 or newer 165" track I think you will need avids or powderfreak 6T drivers pressed on to your drive shaft.

t3 drivers won't work with that, was thinking 163

165 3" is 3.5" pitch track. You'll need the 6T drivers I believe stock drivers fit but powderfreaks has some as well. If you decide to take the easier route and do a 163 track order a T3 trackshaft and drivers its the cheapest way in Canada, I did it in 2014 when I went to a 3" on my XM.

if you havent bought a track yet, you should try to get cat style from a 19 dual rail
they chew like crazy

Yes 165 3paddle but the pitch (space between driver windows) so you buy the right drivers is importanter
also recommend a powder freaks thermostat, my 14 would heat up on the trail quick even with scratchers down, freaks t-stat opens 10 degrees sooner so it really helps against everything getting heat soaked then fighting to get temps back under control.

what im pretty much doing is making it like the new sleds, short tunnel longer track, need to figuare out the rear flap setup too.
