2014 re-flash on the '13's

So the hand warmers on the 2014's start immediately. On the 2013's the hand warmers don't work until about 2000 rpm.

Will the 2014 re-flash on a 2013 set the 2013 hand warmers to start the same as the 2014's?

I'm pretty sure I recall reading that the flash will make the warmers start when the engine starts and idles.

I don't know if everyone is worried. It just seems to me that if the warmers are coming on, why wait until the sled is at 2000 rpm (+ or -). It sure is nice for them to be on from the get-go like on the 2014's.......I like my hands warm!

So when I got mine they were set to 2nd setting and worked right away at idle. I clicked em down to off and stays off unless you reset the level. Had chk eng and temp gauge come on with the stinger. Engine temp went to 5th bar midrange when this happens. Guess it happens at lower elevs but wont go into tard mode was told by the dealer. They told me there will be a flash right away due to the fact that before the 14's left the factory one of the engineers decided to set the EGT sensor setting a little more sensitive. He's fired and the reflash will be to set the EGT sensor settings back to 13 specs. So I'm being told but hey that being said what a sled home run again for BRP.

A good dealer shouldn't charge for a re-flash IMHO, that is if you are a good steady customer.

Parking brake alarm? Please enlighten me.........:d

Thank you. I guess that is something my dealer should have enlightened me about. I should have probably found that in the manual but I am a guy and I don't read manuals well.....
