Come on maxwell, this isn't the response I expected from u after all the crap slinging u did toward cat and poo. I don't get the brand wars myself, I'll have fun and poke jokes towards friends but really Im a fan of all brands. It's nice too see doo try new things with the suspension and I'm excited to hear how well it works.

Ya. Well I was busy riding all weekend I don't have time to come on here and come up with intellegent responses to the brain washed tards on this site if you want a better answer come ride with me. And sorry but this sled is still the best sled on the market even though the changes aren't drastic. Crap slinging? That's a joke right? Its called fact. Don't confuse them. Ride them all then get back to me about crap slinging.

So smaller seat, holes in flap, less material in boards, and less rod length in track. Should equal less weight. So how heavy is that new skid. If the extra weight is in the skid I see why they went with the flex track to help tip that thing over with so much weight lower on the sled.

I picture this flex track and suspesion like a belt sander,, as you up the speed or RPM's you quickly wear out or break the "flexing edge"??? as the power is trying to spin it straight and its beeing bent or rubbed a different way

so at 55mp/h this thing is at its 4degrees will this be affected? I am sure they tested but the theory doesnt seem to work in my head,,, I see the track getting chewed and also rubbing.... but again I am sure its been tested for 1000miles holding a side hill WOT right......

but again the etec is awesome power!!!!!! fak I want 2 of everything

I may be out to lunch here, but is that suspension and folding track designed to overcome the XP's unwillingness to come up one one ski? The centrifical forces of having the clutches and the brake rotor up so high are overwhelming and want to keep the machine planted. I owned 2 REVs and thought they were the best handling chassis on the market at the time. When ski-doo brought out the XP I couldn't seem to get comfortable trying to keep it up on one ski. If this track and suspension mod does indeed help with this issue,(which I understand is a non issue to many) then maybe BRP will get me back on their team. Until I ride one though, I will have to keep riding my fuel injected REV rip off (Pro RMK) wondering when the motor is going to blow. I think they look pretty sick though. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Johni roll your sled on edge in the driveway. Your stock track flexes just as much. It won't be an issue. The skid is just going to assist that's all. And reember 4 degrees at the skid means way more up at the bars. This thing will be cool.

Have you been on a 2012xp? In my opiniion that issue you speak of from 2008 is gone. These things follow your body english perfect with little effort. This new skkid can only make it that much better. Which is scary because I could end up in some tight spots loool.

Really Maxwell, really? So when Doo starts using this kind of technology, and they will, that will make the Doo a POS too? I really respect your opinion in most cases, but your brand loyalty is getting to you. Dont take it so seriously man, its only a game.LOL.

ya for sure thats true espeicialy noticeable with a 2 wheel kit and the track survives just fine,,,

I am sure it work and great point at the bars that will be a lot more then 4 degree's.. I love my doo and yes I can ride but man it does require a lot more effort and coming downhill I just cant get it to sit on its edge maybe need more practice but I can doo it on other brands lol.....

xp alwyas just wants to pop up but fak its stable at high speed coming down in the not so deep.

Yes I have maxwell, two weeks or so ago and yes, they are better for sure, but still seem to want to pull themselves back down. A skinny ski stance doesnt change the fact that they want to stay planted. Just requires a little more effort, that is all. Not that it is bad, that is why I hope these changes are for the better.

If I hit something hard enough that it requires parts replacement, I'll have no issue using an adhesive that is commonly used in the aerospace industry and after Polaris's testing plus two years of consumer miles has had no issues. Pos is it ? The lightest, most nimble, strongest sled. Way, way tougher bulkhead than your XP turd, so ya, maybe bolts are better for you Doo girls, since you're replacing bent parts more often. Pro is the best selling mountain sled, taking over 50% of total mountain sled sales. That tells me there are many more smart riders out there than there are Doo riders. LMFAO !!!

Not to worried about it. I don't bend stuff I know how to ride.........I guess if I was always crashing into trees like a newb I would have to consider a pro because it is sooo strong.

It really has proven itself in many industries. Check out your vehicle. There's a very good chance body panels or even door hinges are glued on. Honestly, the adhesive is the least of my worries as the miles rack up.......tick tock, tick tock !!

Well then you had better keep your old iron in good shape, cause eventually they will all be glued together. Light is right for the mountains. Look at the automotive industry.
