I have been very disappointed in the MBRP can since the ETEC came out. My sled has run like crap at low elevations each year and now they are throwing codes this year. Switched to a Specialty can this year and will try it out this week in Revy. I have my doubts now MBRP is working side by side with BRP cause something isn't right. jmo.

i agree with this. my sleds the last couple years all the same issues. now this year i had some serious quality issues with the mounting. they are 100$ cheaper than the HPS but sure hasnt been worth it.

I have a MBRP trail can on my etec and it's great. No codes no troubles and quiet untill WOT. The MBRP race can is lighter but noticeably louder.

I don't care about harley's, and our group rides away from most people so I'm not too worried about some other sledder being offended, but damn, the argument of all your riding buddies need a loud ass can in the mountains to be safe, it just doesn't fly. Buy a radio if you get stuck. One of the guys we ride with has one of them ear bleeder cans (might be the MBRP Race) and when you are stopped with helmet off and he is riding towards you in any direction that thing makes my ears hurt from about 300 ft away, its stupid loud. I don't find it any easier to find him when he's stuck, usually if he's stuck his sled is trench in or shut off.

Sledders don't die because we got sideswiped by a semi who didn't see us. Loud pipes don't save lives in the mountains because they don't make any sound if they are buried under 12' of snow. You think anyone who was on Boulder mountain a couple years ago thinks they would have been safer if someone had a loud can that day? Just sayin.......
