Nice video. Sled looks to handle great. Good for doo.
HV is most likely fishing but he may swing through and enlighten all of us.......
LMFAO !!! Not fishing until next week (hoping to slay the salmon and hali's), but it's nice to know you're thinking of me . I never hid the fact that I want to try an XM and hopefully I do next season. After watching that vid, it seems that BRP has put almost enough bandaids on the XP chassis to make it almost as capable as a Pro. Have a great summer boys !!

That's 2........
??? You lost me. But I'm slipping into holiday mode and a few rum'n coke will do that.

2nd poo guy on snopro and I's list to comment. All good though. Save me some salmon.....candied if possible....love that stuff
Will the XM stay afloat at trolling speeds and does it come with downriggers ? If not, it's useless to me at this time.

Will the pro rmk? Just sayin'
Nope !! It'll sink like a lead balloon. I'm looking at buying a saltwater boat for next year and was wondering if the XM will kill two birds with one stone. Then I realized, it doesn't float in the powder, so I'm still forced to have two toys. 1 Pro for the powder and one boat or possibly an XM, for the water. That's why I was asking. The snow part was already covered with the best machine available.

I just about bought into your premise......then I got thinking " who would try to use a lead balloon as a water vessel?" I then realized it was a person who thinks the poo poo is the best snowmachine. I then sipped my scotch. Remembered doo rules and all is right in the world.
Well, I don't willingly use a sled as a boat, but then I got thinking that since the Doo has great technology but sucks in the powder, that just maybe it was actually designed for something else all together. If one of the Doo boys wants to lend me their machine, I'll happily test this theory and if it doesn't work out, it's no great loss. Win, win for everyone involved.

Your correct.....the doo does have great tech.....however your speculation that it sucks in the powder is incorrect.....much like your trial of a metal balloon as a nautical asset.......
Well, this has been fun, but I have to work in 5 hours.
PS : The Doo does suck in powder and the Pro sinks in water. Thankfully, I don't ride my Pro in water and Doo's can't keep up in the powder. Have a great nite !!!!

well it looks like a 08xp a 11xp and a 12 assault all float and seriously if a pro doesn't float on water then that would mean it doesn't float on powder either. i was water skipping with a pro last weekend and no sink.
here is some powder videos for you to show you how the doo does in deep pow. i think the problem is your doo friends can't ride.
i think all new sleds are wicked!

amusement is good. why would i chop the throttle on the water? it will sink unless it has water wings lol. when i ride i don't let off the throttle thats why got a 2 stroke. braaaaaaaaaaaapsledxp, it would seem you missed the point of my posts being purely for amusement. If you honestly think that if a sled won't float on water, then it won't float on powder, I suggest a test. Take a Pro, XP, whatever, across the pow and let off the throttle. Now, take the same sled onto the water and chop the throttle. Let us know how that works out for ya.
