The light on the dash is flashing while riding or even idling high, even if I hold the brake lever open. Anybody know if there is any other reason why this is happening?

Is this happening after you've been riding in deep snow. i found that the brake would think it is on after riding in some deep powder. The brake light would stay on on the dash, until I got somewhere warm enough that any snow in there melted. Didn't affect the braking, or cause any issues with the brakes at all. I had it in to the dealer to look at this problem and they didn't find any issues at all. There have been a few other threads on this, seemed to be the same issue everyone was having. Now if your's is doing it without having been riding in deep snow, not sure what the issue is.

^^x2...........mine was flashing one day. Conditions were rain, wet snow, deep snow. It was only the dash light. The actual rear brake light came on only when I touched the lever (like it should). Checked the brakes and they were fine.
Looked around a bit and could not figure out where the switch is that triggers the dash light.
Never happened since, so I'm blaming it on the moisture in the switch (where ever it is).

I'm not aware of this brake light switch location but it has to be near the MC or is there a sensor near the caliper where moisture can intrude?

Riding in deep snow but don't see the issue until hitting the trail back to the truck. Visually nothing looks frozen. Once you stop you can keep the light flashing if you keep the revs up but if you drop back to idle it goes away. Seemed to flash at a fairly consistant rate so I was wondering if it indicated some kind of code? The manual says it will be on when the "Service Brake" code is thrown??? How can this thing know when the brakes need service, I can't see any sensors anywhere?

So
The last deep wet snow I was in my P light came on and
stayed on for the last bit of the day (no flashing just on )
every thing work as it should so i figured it was water in a switch some where ?
got back to town from the mountains , fired it up on the sled deck and haven't seen it again
that was 6 rides ago .
must be a switch plug some where getting wet or Mabey I had snow in the brake Handel some where ? ??
