2013 assault fuel issue

I'm having issues with my assault 800, prime the fuel pump and it will fire up and run for a bit then die, while its running I can't hear the fuel pump at all. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Sounds like the fuel pump. Take it out and bench test it.

Fuel pump is good have already tested it.

Sounds like you need new fuel pump relay. Do the lights and dash power up? Poor power output (bad stator) could keep the pump from running.

Have you changed the inline fuel filter? Polaris ones are expensive. I have a part number from bumper to bumper that replaces it for cheap.

Apparently aftermarket offers a fuel filter now. I think Rec Supply in Saskatoon carries them.

hook a battery to the pump prime circuit and leave it hooked up. fire it and see if it stays running.

Yup, NGS3027. (Napa Auto Parts) You will have to build your own fuel line, or splice this filter into your existing line.

Rec supply has the exact hoses and are less than half the price of a Polaris one. Just change it out and away ya go.
