It's been a great year for me, had some of the best snow of my life both skiing and sledding. My 14on/off was timed perfect for the fresh dumps, had some brutal driving conditions to get home but once I got home it was go time! I think I'm up to about 25 days so far and another month of riding....

Won't be done riding for another month yet at least, I don't count KMs, so couldn't tell you what I started the season at, I've put on enough on the sled and the truck that's for sure.

Well it sure sounds like a lot of Snow and Mudders had a heck of a season. Some injuries, some broken sleds and some still sledding! Glad to hear most are still in one piece and have a smile on their faces.

I have to say my favorite video I have seen from this season was by far Jim Clipperton's launch mid chute climb.

I rode 8 days iirc this year and about 700km, which is more than my last couple seasons combined.

No injuries and no mechanical failures on my old M7, not that I didn't try to tear off an a-arm or two.

Rode:
Silent pass
Hospital Creek
Zippermouth Rd
Salmon
Allen
and one or two others that I am not recalling the names of.

Well when I got the call from HRT Offroad to tag along on a May Long Sled trip sled camping at a cabin...I couldn't say no. Headed past Fernie and up the mountain for some off roading adventure to get to the snowline. Had to skimmer all supplies up the hill, shovel out an avy debris field to squeak the trucks by and back up the rest of the way to the snowline. I sure am glad I gave my truck a little lift before this trip!!

It rained most of the time but the 4 of us made the best of it with some sledding, Jenga, skimmer racing, Crazy 8 card games, eating like kings and a lot of laughs. Man oh man did a shower ever feel good after the weekend tho! Hope everyone else had an awesome May Long!!!

That road looks familiar... would this happen to be at the place formally known as Powder Cowboy? Up past Galloway... I've never been inside the new cabin there, looks like quite an upgrade from the old one!

The title of the video says Silent Pass...so no it's not near Silent. This area is past Fernie up Zippermouth Mountain. Wish I could give you more info, but you know how it is ;) :D
