Anyone find a decent replacement system for the cheap plastic presure clips on the yamaha? I hear switching to Honda's body clips is the way to go? Honda clips seem bigger though...

Other then that I love the bike I mounted a set of interco reptile radial 27" on there and love those too... great at higher speeds and only true radial I could find with that aggressive tread... I wanted a radail for the side wall strength and thickness of ply...

Other then that the bike has performed the way everyone says it would... in mud I find you need to me in low to really feel the grizzly come alive... for a 700 seems a little soft of the start... considering a clutch mode upgrade... bike is stock... dealer who i trust seems to think i'll be more happy with the clutch upgrade over the chip/ airbox and exhaust route? Input appreciated????

I also mounted a kimpex rear seat and box with place for a gas can... the buckle holding the gas can broke on the third ride and I don't drive my new bikes hard at all... just saying... love the box hate the cheap closing elastic band things... I think kimpex cheaped out on this one... I was in a rush and didn't look around for anything better so my bad...

Having said all that... going from solid rear axle to independent... I find the under carraige of this machine very hard to keep clean

You can get them from autoparts stores, but I have only used Yamaha ones so far. One thing I did notice is that SOME of the replacement ones have little two little bumps in the ridge that the screw part seats in. The bumps will seat in two little recesses in the screw head and lift the head when you twist it a 1/4 turn - that way you don't have to rely on the threads to lift the screw and you can easily pull 'em out. There are another type of rivet, like the two tat are used on the part of the hood that sits over top of the radiator. Those type do not screw out, instead, you use a flat head screwdriver to pop the rivet out.
