Was in dealership today, looking art new advances to the Doo's... Noticed that the new "Rotax Electric Reverse" is now a stand alone switch that is no bigger than your thumb, and the high/low beam switches are on a kill-switch type, as well as handlebar warmers down on dash... I LOVE THIS platform and would LOVE to have on my 06, the big bulky switch panel always gets caught on my jacket sleeve, and the individual switch cannot be replaced, the whole assembly is how it is sold... My question is, if its possible to easily swap out the pin-outs on the older 06 rev wiring harness to accept the new Rotax Electric reverse switch, everything else I can handle as its pretty straightforward... Thx for your help

The 07 xrs had the same thing. Toggle switches for earners on the console. The flip switch for lights. Single button for reverse

You just need the pinout location for the Harness clips found on the handlebars correct??

They might work but right now, parts aren't available for the 2012 models. I put an XP brake switch/lever on my rev Summit and no more broken brake light switches!!

Yes and no. Some wires you use and some you do. It's not like you can plug in the different switches
