i personnaly bought one after the golden avy and seeing the whole volume thing first hand. This is where its at ppl, 15% survival rate goes up to 95%. After listening to many stories from fellow riders and at RMX, with these bags deployed it is basically a self rescue situation as you are within the top 2 ft or less. Also for next season you can get a wireless activation, meaning your budy at the bottom can hit deploy your bag for you. That was my biggest thing is that most avys are behind you and how would you see it comeing right. I think the wireless technology is exclusive to the ABS bag right now. ABS is bringing out carbon fiber cannistors for less weight.

Good investment in my eyes. Cause as bad as this may sound Do you really want to rely on you riding buddies to save your life??? At 7000ft its pretty hard to dig a whole 5ft+ diameter and 6ft+ down in less than 5-7min, first hand experience here. We all have commitments of our own and personnaly i would like to keep my life in my hands.

I have done this with my snow check summit and for an extra $300 you can get the extended warranty for the full 3yrs. This was done at Martin North.

In them hills.
The sales guy told me it was only with Martin…..
He had a chart on his desk with all the options…
But it’s not totally free…you have to select the accessory option a $600 value and they give you the $1000 bag… Is how I believe it works, but I could be wrong as I only have a minute to look at it.
