Is there not overflow camping if all the sites are gone? And are they not allowed to partake in the ride?

No, there is no overflow, we tried it one year but the area was too soft, if the weather is crappy we'd have units stuck in that area like there is no tomorrow. And REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY can partake in the ride.

NO! This event is closed to the general public, you must be registered at Outwest Campground to participate. No exceptions will be given to anyone for any reason, or bribe.

Anyhoo.... again, for those who are interested in coming but cannot get a spot, we are willing to double up... I'm sure our spot is big enough and we only have a 20 ft camper.

Yes, it does apply that weekend too. You could always get someone to take it over if you had to cancel perhaps? Or try to find someone to share a site with that already has one? the sites are big and you can fit two trailers on most of em. You pay per unit, not per site, so it doesn't really matter how ya do it. As a guest on someone else's site you wouldn't be bound by the campground cancellation policy and it wouldn't cost anyone any more bucks if you didn't show up in their site. Like how Lady Dirt is saying they can take stragglers on their site...
