....but seriously, are there clips of guys riding up hill?

LOL...not sure where you might have saw a clip...but we have Trish in the teaser going up a hill? haha

We have a promo vid for Bush League, another project of Raw Mettle's, not the Betties...but no clips have been seen from that. So Trish may take offense to that comment....look out. ;)

Glen, we did most of our filming in our back yard too :) Did a couple days in Forster, outside Radium. Few days in one of our fav's, Silent Pass...cuz we always like to drag peeps up the 50km trail in :D. Got a day in at Gorman this Spring too, LOVE that place!! Had about 7 Betties out here through the season, some a few times. So you see a few of the Golden riding areas and Radium in our footage.

This year we had more family and kids involved in general, which resulted in a fun season. We have few Little Betties in the movie this year, 6 I think all together. And we have the Junior Betties bonus segment this year too - as more juniors are getting involved this gives them their own thing to be part of and share in with friends. :D Couple segments of Dirty Betties...and can't forget Oma...our over 60 role model. She shows the rest of us there's no age factor with riding and having fun with family and friends. She even hit a bit of mud which she wasn't too thrilled about hitting...the end result was that 'feel good moment' that we all strive for :)

There's so much footage that it can't all make the movie...but the emotions I go through when editing is nuts! There's so much that gets caught on film when you have peeps all over filming and submitting...each experience is different, but yet the same. LOL. I love the family dynamic that I saw so much of this year, and I like knowing I'm not alone in cursing out the hubby...for no apparent reason...video doesn't lie LOL. I get excited, I laugh, I cry, I get excited again...I feel overwhelmed most times and am amazed at the 'heart' that comes with the footage and how much it shows what we're doing out on the mountain and how we're making a difference to some peeps....and doing it by not being the 'best' ...that's the best part. :)

Can't wait to see this years video again. Love the idea of "Family" aspect as well.

Our goals is to promote riding in general and all aspects to it, versus featured riders. This includes riding areas, club events, safety and education...we're incorporating more and more of that as we get the professional peeps involved. This year riders went to Rasmussen and Chris Brown clinics...which we'll do next season as well. Avy tips are setup for next year too :) Newbie rides and club events are being scheduled now for footage submissions for next year. We're seeing the proactive clubs want to get exposure via this as well and seeing how they can contribute and use our network aspect for exposure.

I would encourage anyone out there to go out with this group of fine women, they can teach all of us a thing or two, and probably show us up on the cursing part. It's a great experience to ride with them all and watch them all high five one another whether they ace the pull, or side hill or whatever they are doing or not. The family aspect has definitely grown even amongst the group as friends.... On more than one occasion I've seen girls running and tackling each other out of fun, and that to me is what keeps the fun in the whole project..... Looking forward to seeing this years whole video, and to see what the 2013/2014 year has to offer. I know of a few rides being worked on and will do MY best to keep all of snowandmud informed on these rides!

Incredible season! Personally I grew so much as a rider, and my circle of people i sorta knew became close friends for me! Love the roadys with the ladies, we have such a good laugh, and I promise we dont always do things the easy way... butttt we get it done. Really encourage others to come out and ride with us, its a great center of encouragement, excitement, energy and serious shredding. We are all at different levels of skill and that always leads to great days on the mountains because you help other people as well as get helped.

My filming.. sheesh.. i wish my backyard was a mountain haha Firstly huge thanks to anyone who held a camera to film me (mostly my man, but several others put in some solid film time too).. and sorrrrry for those i nearly ran over (this sound re-curring to anyone yet) haha but for sledding we hit revy, golden, radium and vale.. we ride so many areas no idea what you will see in the film.. quading is nearly my backyard, its the richardson backcountry and sand dunes.. <3 that is heaven up there..

Cant wait to see our film and push into another solid season with these ladies and all the new women out there who are getting into the sport!
