LOL...not sure where you might have saw a clip...but we have Trish in the teaser going up a hill? haha
We have a promo vid for Bush League, another project of Raw Mettle's, not the Betties...but no clips have been seen from that. So Trish may take offense to that comment....look out.
They must have rode up at one time. They all appear to be over the hill now.

Glen, we did most of our filming in our back yard too Did a couple days in Forster, outside Radium. Few days in one of our fav's, Silent Pass...cuz we always like to drag peeps up the 50km trail in . Got a day in at Gorman this Spring too, LOVE that place!! Had about 7 Betties out here through the season, some a few times. So you see a few of the Golden riding areas and Radium in our footage.
This year we had more family and kids involved in general, which resulted in a fun season. We have few Little Betties in the movie this year, 6 I think all together. And we have the Junior Betties bonus segment this year too - as more juniors are getting involved this gives them their own thing to be part of and share in with friends. Couple segments of Dirty Betties...and can't forget Oma...our over 60 role model. She shows the rest of us there's no age factor with riding and having fun with family and friends. She even hit a bit of mud which she wasn't too thrilled about hitting...the end result was that 'feel good moment' that we all strive for
There's so much footage that it can't all make the movie...but the emotions I go through when editing is nuts! There's so much that gets caught on film when you have peeps all over filming and submitting...each experience is different, but yet the same. LOL. I love the family dynamic that I saw so much of this year, and I like knowing I'm not alone in cursing out the hubby...for no apparent reason...video doesn't lie LOL. I get excited, I laugh, I cry, I get excited again...I feel overwhelmed most times and am amazed at the 'heart' that comes with the footage and how much it shows what we're doing out on the mountain and how we're making a difference to some peeps....and doing it by not being the 'best' ...that's the best part.
Can't wait to see this years video again. Love the idea of "Family" aspect as well.

hmmm cursing out the hubby.... Like if you were filming with ... let's say Bret Rasmussen... having a wonderful learning moment... and the husband.. who is filming cut Bret's head off and was playing with his radio!!!!!
Happy to say...yes I am.
I would encourage anyone out there to go out with this group of fine women, they can teach all of us a thing or two, and probably show us up on the cursing part. It's a great experience to ride with them all and watch them all high five one another whether they ace the pull, or side hill or whatever they are doing or not. The family aspect has definitely grown even amongst the group as friends.... On more than one occasion I've seen girls running and tackling each other out of fun, and that to me is what keeps the fun in the whole project..... Looking forward to seeing this years whole video, and to see what the 2013/2014 year has to offer. I know of a few rides being worked on and will do MY best to keep all of snowandmud informed on these rides!
