I guess I'll be seeing how much the new sleds are goin for but I'm kinda leaning towards picking up a 2011 163 everest.
really? 2500 km.......that sucks? might be leaning towards the RMK PRO
That's just what I've gathered. Sure a few people will tell you stories about how they got 4 years and 6000k out of one of these motors, but the majority of stories I've heard have them throwing cranks on or before the 2500km mark. Believe what you want but the fact is the Rotax 800 has a sealed crank bearing the receives no oiling and needs to be re-greased on a regular basis and the only way to do it is to split the cases and pull the crank. If anyone more informed than me believes that I am wrong please feel free to correct me but that is the way I understand it.
Then you'll need a new top end every 800k.
That headlight dimmer looks kinda familiar. Kinda 10 years ago familiar. Is that other switch held on with tie straps? That looks like something I would do after a go around with a tree!! Nice.
