2012 pro 163 slp stage 4

buddy just picked up a 2012 stage 4 pro 163 tonight for 8 grand has 1068 miles what are some issues to look out for with this ? he was told to run 50/50 av/pump still has the PCV controller. any help for him would be great thank you

You can run pump gas it's fine if you have the fueling right and the right head. If he has vforce reeds in it change them out it's just a waste of money and break a lot. He should get a piston fix kit or at least new pistons aftermarket. I personally like bikeman performance fix kit because it gives more crankcase volume more hp and better reliability.

thanks guys, he dose have brand new polaris reeds installed as the v force reeds were done. backus did all the work prior to him buying the sled.

I would run on the better side of the gas with it being the stage 4.
Cylinders have been ported and this changes things also .
Gas seems to be the biggest problem these days for performance .
But if he wants to gamble ??
