Was riding hard for a couple hours and sled lost all power. I made the mistake of shutting it down and couldn't get it to restart. I had no codes flash and no red lights prior to shutdown, I have fuel to cylinders, good compression, but no spark. I have checked all connections and have blown them out. Any ideas...

Problem partially solved. Sled started after night in heated garage. Now I just need to find the connection that collected the water that was causing all the problems. Any ideas?

How many KM on the sled? Have the wiring harness off at all lately? Goop up the connectors with waterproof grease and that's what I've had happen on older sleds.

check the connection on the capacitor. It is the small black box that is on the clutch cover in front of the oil tank. Have seen one other switchback assault that had a loose connection and which would kill the sled intermittently.

Any update on this one and what you found and how you fixed the problem. Having the same problem on my 2012 but as soon as i put it in the heated trailer for a few hours it starts right away.

Happened to my 2013 yesterday. Had to get towed out , got home and it started. took it to dealer today and figured it was throttle saftey switch. Cause streched throttle cable.

Interesting, I never even though about that being a possibility Did they just adjust the cable or have to replace it Do you happen to know where the switch is located approx
