assuming brp comes out with nothing crazy for 2014 am thinking of picking up a newer sled for next season, now the question is seeing as the market is getting flooded with 2012 for 3 to 4000$ less then a new sled and 2013 xm for around 2000$ less, is it worth buying a 2012 and putting in the tmotion -the track or spending the extra little for a true xm?..... of course any dissension will b made after the 2014 line up is released..haha

Depends on the deal. It's going to be 400 for the t motion and 1000 for the track. If you can install your self that would be ok. But to pay a dealer it would be another grand probably. So probably cheaper to go with a 13, Also if the 3 year warranty comes in to it you'd have a extra year depending on when the 12 was bought

Ridin style depending tmotion may not be the way to go IMO. Doesn't work for me in a 2012. Just depends on ridin style. For 90% of riders tmotion is awesome.

I haven't rode a 13 yet, but I have tried a few 12's. The 12's are good to go, and the 13's are new. Meaning they are still flaws, in the flawless sled, lol.
I would lean towards a 12, until after seeing what the 14's are for improvements. Either way, they are both good sleds and you can't really go wrong.

I would say the 13 xm just for the storage! And I don't think it matters what skid you ride they all have good and bad points and you will learn to ride it well cus no matter how awesome your sled is their will be a better one next year! And it is the rider that is awesome not the sled in my eyes !

Sold my 12 and bought a 13 this year. The xm is a completely different sled it does everything with less effort. It did take a while to get used to it but once you do it is amazing. That been said it is not a trail sled you would probably hate it.
