Should i be putting on d rated tires or e rated. I occasionaly will be pulling close to 8000lbs with my ecoboost. If i put on e rated i think i will be having the pressure sensor light come on. What have you guys been doing?? Basically i want to put on a 285/65r18 tire instead of the 275/65r18 tire that came on the truck. What should i do. I dont want to be messing with tire pressure sensors.

Just put in 40-45 psi all the way around.
U could never haul enough with a 1/2 ton to need more air to overload the tires

Sensors stay with the rims. Has nothing to do with tires.
What tex said is right
although you can get more payload with an f150 eithe trailer package than a dodge 2500 hd you cannot put enough on the rear axle to overload the tires. You can just pull more by about 400 lbs thus the reason I went with the balder nicer rife more payload and cheaper to buy

Well i went with BFG all terrains, 285/65r18. running about 35PSI in them now as the truck is empty. I will bumpe them up to 40 or 45 as per what you guys say. They sure look good on the truck, very happy with them.

That's the same tire I use in the winter.
But I found a set last winter that still have the snow flake ( winter roads )
New ones don't. Check urs

Yah. mine dont have the snowflake either. I run black rims and blizzaks in the winter.
