So got my white/blk 2012 X 163" couple weeks ago, now wondering what mods are you guys doing this year? I am waiting to hear back from SLP if the 2011 etec kit will work as a bolt on to the 2012 and hopefully clutching is better this year. The kit has ypipe, pipe and can which saves 14pnds and gains 6.7hp, so they say! Chances are I am going to get it, but just patiently waiting for some snow now!!

For the price your gonna pay for that alp exhaust kit, why not throw another 1k into it and get a bmp 860. Bb etec kit. You would yield a lot more power with that.

The full exhaust will run you $600-700. The BMP 860 for about $2000 would be nice, but they also suggest their y-pipe, rage cages, and the power comander, so another $1200-1300.

You could do the exhaust and the fuel controler for about $1300. The new fuel controler will be the best addition overall as everything you add to the motor after that will allow for the fuel to be adjusted very easiy.

Who makes the fuel controler for the e-tec?? This might sound like a dumb question but I have been looking for one and cannot find any

Thanks

The most recent one is SPI, there is a power commander out there as well but they have not officially released it.

The SPI looks very easy to install and work with.
