2012 e tec limp mode

Put 250 kms on last trip
This trip made it 2 kms up trail engine light came on and sled feels like its in limp mode check pipe semsor and can sensor looks good
Sled. Is all stock amything else i could check

No started sled at trucks and let them warm up
Phoned the dealer preety much need computer to find out whatts wrong so ill just have to take it in

There is a new flash for the 2012's for the engine light coming on in some cases. Maybe that is all it needs.

that is the one issue with the etecs that pees me off, all the sensors and such, and then if its a problem, your need the brp budds to reset, they need to get some aftermarket software out there to do the same job as buds, taking it to the dealer is bs

The '12 seems to throw check engine lights pretty quick.

Could be a number of things. Did it actually limp though and protect itself? or just sorta felt like it did?

Mine has thrown a light a few times, ran it and never limped. Shut it off, started it up again, no light.

If you are putting around, especially during break in mode, the sled will load up fast with the extra oil, could be an issue. Also if the throttle flipper gets pressed at all, or there is snow keeping it open at all, it will throw a light.

It idles fine and sounds smooth
Mid range feels like its running out of gas
On a climb if i keep it pinned it sounds like im off and on the throtle
Preety sure its a bad sensor and computer wont let it do nothin

got sled back from dealer was told pipe sensor NFG

we have had three go on two turbo sleds, we added shims under the sensors now and issues so far have not come back, maybe the answer
