At what elevation?

Below 3000 feet. Would you know of anyone firsthand that rectified the problem by adding more pin weight for lower elevations? I also have the low elevation kit installed. I increased the pin weight from 18.8g t0 20g. Maybe I should try another gram. Would like to know for sure if this is the issue and I'm not just covering up another problem.

This is my non educated guess.

The problem starts with the maps. The low elevation map sucks on the mountain sleds and maybe all the etecs but I don't know anyone with shorties to confirm.

Adding pin weight will help but you will have to start your set up in clicker 1. Remember, going up in clicker changes the angle and the sled will respond quicker. At low elevations this is a problem. You are not hitting a rev limiter but the ecm is saying the crank is spinning to fast for that elevation.

I am sure you can beet this by easing into the throttle and it is only when you grab it to wot it happens.

I would start in clicker One, add a gram and go from there.

Do you ever get any check engine lights, voltage lights or even a battery light?

Also, dont go over 7900. The power drop off at 7950 is pretty big.

Thanks. I do not get any codes/check engine lights. What you are saying is what I suspect as well and it makes sense. Hope that is all that it is. I will update my findings when I get a chance to add more weight.

DJ's clutch kit fixed my hesitation problem! No more hesitation/stumble whatsoever. Now my only issue is that after several pulls the sled will only hit 7400rpm. Let it sit for a while and it will hit 7900-8000 again for the first couple of pulls then back to 7400. O well... at least the hesitation/stumble is gone. That was driving me nuts.
