I guess they think we'll go there just because of the convenience. Too bad some of these business don't feel an obligation to support the hand that feeds. I said this in a similar thread, about the absence of other businesses on the list that profit big time from Valemount sledders

As was mentioned in another thread Bronze is only $250 and every $ helps VARDA. No brainer for them to throw $250 each at VARDA and get their names in the cabins, on brochures and at all the sled shows VARDA has a booth at in the fall.

I agree....What are the money amounts for different levels..$250 seems too cheap for what they get. I wanna support the businesses that REALLY support VARDA, $250 to me just isn't. $250 to get your name up there and the business you get is a money making investment.Who wouldn't.

According to the sign up sheet $250 to $500 for Bronze, $500 to $1,000 for Silver, $1,000 to $3,500 for Gold, $3,500 to $5,000 for Platinum and $5,000 plus for Diamond. As you say the $250 is a great deal for merchants as you get your name in VARDA flyers, in VARDA Sled Area Guides and on the VARDA website as well as a Sponsorship Certificate you can hang up in your shop for all your customers to see.

Some of the sponsors that are listed are not businesses or merchants-just people who want to support VARDA over and above the memberships and do not make any money from doing so!
