2012/13 Eagle Valley (Sicamous) Updates

Hey People!

Anyone from the site here riding Sicamous this weekend (probably sunday's best) who doesn't mind an extra dude tagging along? I have decent riding skills on a 2013 proclimb, so unless you are Burandt or Rasmussen I shouldn't slow you down too much. But I am 40, so I avoid the big drops and such as crashes hurt more now than they did in my 20's

We rode blue lake on Friday 15, there was not alot of new fresh snow. On Saturday we rode Owls Head and the snow was pretty tracked and not alot of new, then headed to the Eagle Valley Snowmobile club party, after that back to Rene's. Good group of peeps here. Today we rode eagles, it was an awesome day, well mostly except for the last few km on the trail, very rough, rocky and muddy. We rode in endless hills of powder from 1' at a minimum to some areas that were 3' deep. And alot more left for us tomorrow. Here are a few pictures.

Spent Sunday afternoon on Queest Mountain. Vis was poor but we found 1 to 3 feet of untouched powder! Came home with zero fuel. Sorry - no pics with the lighting conditions. We unloaded at the bottom and only encountered a couple of bare patches. A couple of pick-ups unloaded at 1.5k.
