Ski-doo copied Polaris back in the 80's when they went to the trailing arm front end.... I was there in Revy when the engineers from Ski-Doo came right out and said it..... Its no big deal really....If you want to win over the market, you convince the masses and they will come. The new at the time Summit started its journey to the top of the hill and the Polaris fell down....
Competition is good, its what makes for better sleds for everyone!!
The new RMK is a good thing....as long as it holds together....remember, they were saying that about the XP in 2007/2008 too, with its light weight.

cheers

Yup.....sure does look like a Rev.

They need to improve the 800 motor, not the sled body. The old chassis was just fine.

if you go to the 6 minute mark, there's another mountain machine in the background. ALMOST looks like a big enough hood to have a 4 stroke...?!!!!

I was talkin to a couple of different dealers, one from Skidoo, Arctic Cat and Polaris. They all promote their sleds of course, but they all had good things to say about polaris. I've heard ALOT of horror stories from the years between 06-09 but apparently they tried working out the problems with the injection. They've made changes to their oil injection system because they knew they were running them WAY too lean. Buddy of mine had a 2010 800 dragon and he's a mechanic. Hasn't had a problem with his yet. I just bought the 2011 PRO RMK 800 155'' in Dawson. I've never been on a sled that rolls over so easy or is so freakin light! So light. They offered me a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty also which obviously covers everything......here's hoping they've fixed everything!
