Wow...All I can say is pass the pipe cause you must be smokin some pretty good stuff to even believe that yourself....lol. Thats over 30 miles/gal or over 1100km per tank ( with a stock 98lt tank) Anyway as long as your happy thats good for you...Just to amuse me a little more what might you be getting towing heavy loads 10l/100Km. The best part is U don't even drive @90km/hr....I bet if you did you would have to pull over every 100km just to let some fuel out of the tank....lol.

Are you interested in selling that truck?? Cause I would pay pretty good $$$$ for a 1 ton getting better than 30 miles/gal...

I Have a 08 f350 and before i installed the SCT delete kit it ran ay 24-26l/100km. I now get 10-13l/100km. The kit pays for it self in the first year. It odes take a while to warm but the ugly winterfront keeps it warm. I tried the chrome winter front but it kept eating snow and plugging the air filter. Ford told me to use the ugly ford front(after soaking me for the chrome one) and to carry 2-3 filters to fix the problem. It also has had 2 rads in 70000km at $1900 each time. I will likely trade off in the spring for a dodge as ford will not work with me anymore.

I have a 08 f350, 35's, spartan tuned with 5" straight pipe and I see 900km to a tank doing 120km/h. Take off the tree huggin emissions crap and you get a truck that can run down the highway and spin the tires to 3rd gear.

I only got 620 max at 120km/h before being tuned.

So this i ask, what is better for the enviroment. Stopping at every gas station you see or letting it blow a smoke.

beleive it or not guys it is the truth. i also have an 08 F350 that was getting around 22/24 L/ 100km stock. i have dpf delete 4 exhaust and a livewire programmer and am consitantely getting 13/14L/100km now. getting rid of all the polution crap does make a world of difference on these trucks. And being able to turn those 35"s at will sure makes all the punks in the 5L mustangs give there head a shake LOL

How is that DEF system working in the cold now that we've had a good cold snap. Curious minds like mine want to know!

It is working just fine, the system is designed with a heater in the tank and in the line, plus th epump runs in reverse when shut off to drain the line,it is also designed to ingore the system till the fluid thaws out and can flow.

2008 F350 it gets bad mileage. On the HWY unloaded 14 MPG, and towing 8.5 MPG.
The old truck with 7.3 was way better, more reliable to.

After hearing everyonse problems I am glad I kept my 02 7.3 . as for my mileage well I average 21-25miles to the gallon at 100 kmh empty, towing i get 15 flat . put it this way I can fill the truck to the tata's in chetwynde and I can drive all the way to tswassen ferry terminal in vancouver on 135 litres . I also have 4 " exhaust and super chip with k&n filter .

Haha...I have no doubt you do get 21mpg ++ as most of the older diesels all got pretty good fuel mileage...Its all the newer ones I have a hard time believing are getting this kind of mileage. I drive and tow with them all and anything today stock getting 18mpg is a pretty decent rig.

Just for comparison sake my 2010 ram averaged 17.5. Imp. On a trip to McBride and back. Checked with pump receipts. Two sleds on a deck. 2800 km round trip. 115 -120 km speed most of the time. I was surprised to say the least, everyone complains about mileage but it wasn't bad. Short trips I might only get 12-14.
