2011 duramax replacement tire options 265 60 20 seem to be a tough size to find

Are you hauling heavy, or need the high payload numbers? 285/55R20 are really easy to find, but you will likely lose some load capacity going from a 60 series to a 55. How much, I'm not sure though. Will depend on manufacturer.

The bfg t/a k02 in the 265/60r20, is 10ply and a good all weather tire with snowflake designation. Wears very well....

I also found there were not alot of options in that size for a 2012 gmc, I ended up getting Toyo open country c/t, they are fairly aggressive tread with snowflake rating, another option is a cooper at3

yup, toyo's good tire(a little noisy and pricey), cooper good tire, but not all weather designation, and decent price....

The Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX is not an all weather designation, BUT, it is studdable and M&S rated, so still fine to go to BC with. I have a friend that uses his truck for ice fishing, so wanted a good tire for ice AND deep snow. Because these are a bit more of an aggressive tire, I put these on his truck, and he absolutely LOVES them. could not be happier. I went with the Toyo Open Country C/T and studded them for winter driving. I think either of these tires would work well NOT studded as well.

Thanks guys what size bigger could I go to find more options? Wanted to stay with the same size because the truck pulls good withe the current combo. I also don't want any rubbing issues it is stock ride height

275/60r20 = 33" diameter
can go:
33x12.5x20(wider and might rub)
305/55r20 = 33.2" diameter(little wider, 1/4" taller... Might rub)
285/60r20 = 33.5" diameter(same width, 1/2" taller.. Shouldn't rub) ---- this is probably the most varied in sizes behind the factory 275/60r20

If the OP doesn't want to make ANY changes, such as adjusting torsion bars a little bit, he better stick to the OE size, or he may get slight rubbing issues.

I went with Cooper Discover M + S LT275/65R20 studded. I think that is a ford size. They work well and are a huge improvement over my 305/55R20 Duratracs. I did have to do the fender mod to fit the 305's on a 20x9 rim with a 0 offset, the 275's are on the stock rims and there is a ton of room now. I would think they should fit a stock truck without the fender mod. Mine is not lifted or leveled. 2013 GMC 2500

Kanati/muteki trail hogs are available in 265/60r20 and are snowflake rated. They are basically a straight up Goodyear Duratrac copy but have 3 ply rated sidewalks instead of 2. I had a set in that size on a dmax and hated them as they were too loud for me and seemed to be wearing fast. They did do fine in light mud and towed fine, other than the howl.
