Well, I finally purchased a newer sled and being new to Cat am looking for an owner's manual and service manual. Does anyone know of a good place or site to purchase or download these manuals? Thanks in advance!

A quick Google search yielded this site. Trying Google first is always the best idea, you will get results instantly. These are pay, but I'm sure a few minutes looking through the search results you could find a free download.

Thanks for the help. know my way around the "Google Machine" very well but did not come up with that link! I don't mind paying as long as the product is good.

It seems they have both Paper and a copy of the manuals on disc. I personally would try to find an owners manual for free. I think the Arctic Cat website should have them. Paying for a service manual is worth it.

I checked the AC Site as well. They have manuals available but only for yeast 2012 and newer. I may have to email them and see if the 2011 is available but not listed.

I certainly hope so. I keep hearing about issues with the Diamond Drive and in particular bearing failure. Should I be worried or look out for anything with the DD?

Change oil often, cause there is not much oil in there for the amount of moving parts and gets dirty real fast. One thing I did with my wife's m7 is the bearing that fails is a sealed greased bearing. So it took the seal off and let it ride in oil. Had that sled for over 2000 miles never had an issue.

For the cost and ease of changing that bearing in the DD, I personally thought it was worth the effort. Neilsleder is right though, the guys who constantly change the DD oil seem to have better luck with them.
The other main weakness on those year Cats are the adjustable steering post. They get sloppy and eventually will snap off. But they will give you lots of notice before they break entirely.
Other than that, besides some isolated clutch spiders breaking including mine at 1700kms, you can't hurt those sleds.
I would suggest doing the Elvis/Geo mod to the skid and adding anti stabs on the track. Google that mod and PM me if you can't find it. It made the sled a lot more fun and helped keep the front end up when on the throttle.
