Actually, i have contacted all the bid performance places and they claim to be working on somthing. There is somthing from magnaflow for the 2010 6.2 raptor but nothing for the 2011's yet.
I only have 1100 km on it so hard to say. It sure likes the fuel so far. But lift and big tires will cause that problem.

Ya rented a 2011 ford SD with the 6.2 in it was pretty impressed didnt have as much jam as a diesel but the passing power and off the line snap were impressive. I can honestly say other then milege their really isnt a point with buying a diesel anymore when they have this gas motor out. With it being 8 to 10 g cheaper and none of that emmisions crap to worry about. Diesels were great three years back but they have ruined them with all this emmision stuff and i bet this new 6.2 engine even though it doesnt get that great of milege probably gets better then the new diesels will.

Ya a guy can burn a lot of gas for 8k. I actually looked on the computer and it is showing 19l/100km, which is not terrific but it will only get better. And like i said i have a lift and bigger rubber. The new 6 speed is nice compared to the old tranny's.

Well its not just the gas the advantage of buying a diesel is pulling, milege, reliability, and overall life the engines themselves will last 100000 of miles but the injectors emmison stuff and the truck its self wont last that. Heard of countless people complaing about diesel particle filter giving them issues and putting the truck in limp mode so what everyone does is deletes it so get a programmer and take all the crap out of you exhaust. But then you no longer have warrenty on a motor that costs 20000 to rebuild or 10000 for new injectors etc basically you need to be prepared to write some pretty big checks if you want to make the new diesels get the milege of the pre emmision diesels.

I have a 2010 Chev 1500 6.2L I turned the exhaust to the side with a tip and the dealer said it might affect my warranty. The exhaust on the Chev 6.2L goes straight out the back , looks bad. I had a race against the 6.2L Rapter in a block I had a fender but that means nothing. My fuel econ. is 22.9mpg he got 16.5mpg. Good luck on the exhaust:d:d:d

The issues and the people behind them will go on for years to come, but the math dose not work out folks, I have heard folks say that it is about the mileage of a diesel or it is the power of the diesel, or it last longer, BUT in a light duty truck it is all for nothing, the warranty, the hauling numbers, the towing numbers are to the same gas or diesel. And then it is a 8 g extra to buy, the fuel is more money now ( and will not be coming down ever again) and the maintenance is more money. So i will stay with my big block and if i have to can replace it 3 times before i come to the dollars of 1 diesel.
Please do not flame me i have me ideas and you have yours and they will not change most likely.
Have a great day folks and burn that oil, clear or not!:)
