2011/2012 Sicamous (Eagle Valley) Updates

Hey all I had a wicked day ridding queest it was windy but nice and clear. I went with jason and his wife from c3 in Sicamous, dad and Gord from sic snow club. It was sweet! Here are a few pics yup I got stuck once lol deep snow everywhere more so in the gully I was coming out of! It was great most times it's too socked in we made in through the mining trail, little sketchy in parts and down into queest lake... Super fun!

Hey Pink, just got back from riding with michelle for two days in vale and your name came up a couple times. LOL Had a blast riding with her and nytro ntx of 2 days of great snow and few stucks. So maybe ride with you and others some day. Great people you meet on here and sled with. that is michelle saying hi to all from her office in clemina, LOL

here are a few pics from today at owl head and skinny ridge, the cabin and on the way down we played in the trees took my sis through a creek but she did not want to follow my track good thing it was a little deep, so some nice yami boys came along to drive her out. thanks

Haha i knew i recognized u from somewhere. The old guy in the reflector vest flagged us down to help u ladies out. glad we could help. hope u had fun in Sicamous.

Any updates on Sicamous riding conditions?

Rode Queest Friday, it sucked and very bad road in conditions. No Fresh for a while.
Rode Ashton Creek Saturday, trail was groomed and a bit better for snow, all pounded out almost everywhere but in the trees.
Rode Eagle Pass today and it was great.

We got 4 inches of fresh at pretty mush every elevation Sat night so things might look better soon.

Should be good still,Monday we could stage at the bottom(was nice and warm compared to Alberta).Blue + Queest.Lower than normal total snow levels,but lots of soft powder.Great job on grooming.

Road Owls 2 day - snowing all day - first one up trail - groomed last night - 8inches of fresh going up trail - stopped in cabin - didnt venture toward skinny - play in trees down low - alot of untouched fresh in trees - played in meadows below cabin and made our way to foresty cabin - long day - muscles hurting ! couple stucks !

Can anyone in the area give us an update on blue lake as to the fresh levels we are trying to know where to go. I know queest got 2' and eagles 5". And the weather for ground 0 is saying 20cm that will mean a few feet up top post pics if you have them

rode owls today - couple inches of fresh uptop - started out partially sunny then clouded over - liitle chilly probably - 10 plus win chill ! rode to forestry cabin - through meadows then back to owls cabin then to video - down around trail to stach cabin - played in meadows - up through ravine over avy - wind blown - by time we got back to cabin - was blowing/snowing - hard to see !!

Spent Sunday on Queest and came out on fumes. Was snowing heavily when we got to the truck. We found lots of dry powder around the tree line and wind swept powder above. No Avy action observed but be careful! We were having too much fun to stop and take pics.
