Working on the trail,,,,,

Those boy's worked that trail like no one else could lol....

It was great getting together with everyone once again and meeting everyone that was out for their first time.

I would like to tip my hat to TG and Sara for organizing one fantastic campout, you two made sure everyone out there had a great time, you walked and quaded to every camp site to make sure everyone was having a good time and felt part of the whole weekend without you two the campout wouldn't be the same.

Lyle your fireworks display was purely one of the greatest private fireworks I have ever seen.

Ron and all the mods you guys gave with your heart and soul to make this event better than last year, yes you too ric even though you didn't show up.

And Outwest you guys rock, your hospitality and welcome attitude to everyone is most greatly appreciated I hope we never move the campout from your facility it's the greatest place. Let me be one of the first to say how sorry we are (snow and mud family) that chit belonging to you guy's got broken into, this is not what we are about and next year I hope these people decide not to show up. Next year I will make sure we have video cameras set up for all secure assets that need to be protected, sad we have to do it but we are true to our commitment of fun times and not leaving a foot print.

All in all one heck of a weekend, White6, LadyDirt, Mudkitty, Emma you gals and your shooters? Well lets just say yummy shooters, bad headache Sunday afternoon.

Well as many has already stated"Where to start"? I would like to Thank all of you members for coming. Without you it wouldnt happened.
From the first summer campout south of Hinton with about 30 people to this years event with over 300 what a difference.
Thanks to all the volunteers that took time from their holidays to help pull this all together. TylerG for running this and all his crew that helped put it together. Ron for all the SRD work you did from your work to make the trail official with SRD. Darcy,Brian and Ugene for laying out a trail. Lyle for a great light show. Murrary for fundraising to help trail groups this year like Tri-county Snowmobile Club and the Bighorn trail working group to help maintain OHV use in that part of the province.
I would like to thank SRD for using Snow and Mud.com as a test for the NEW permit system for large group use of the backcountry. Lots of hard work,worry and frustration but WE did it. We proved that a ATV rally can be run enviromentally responsibly and still offer a enjoyably ride.

This event is probally the most fun I have ever been involved with in of all my volunteer events. Maybe next year I will get there early and maybe even ride a bit during the week. From some of the pics looks like I miss out on some great riding.
