So, you guys who have some experience with both, which one is preferred?? Been watching the Schooled series with my boy and it's neat to see the how they progressed and the changes in the sleds have come along.

I'm curious though what some snow and mud professionals have to say about the previous generation Cat and Poo.

Also, keep in mind Im only curious about the turbo versions of both.

You just cant get a stronger motor then the 800HO that's in the 2010 and newer m8, plus its a easy sled to ride with a large balance point because of its low center of gravity.

M8, better motor, better build quality, better handling. The dragons do OK but are a bit squirrley feeling.

The motors of course can't even be compared in terms of durability.

It's a close call for me on the chassis's but I'd give preference to the Dragon. I felt the ergonomics were better for a tall guy and so much less strain on the forearms/wrists. Hillclimb capabilities are close. Chassis durability goes to the Cat as well as its extreme sidehill potential.

I've owned 2 10/11 M8's and 1 IQ sled.

I owned 2 dragons, one was good the other went thru 2 motors. They do love to be run on boost tho!!! My buddies have a few M8s and they last for ever. The motor makes good power too. There both a good chassis, but I like the looks and handling better with the Dragon.

I had a 2009 Assault Loved the ride and the way it handled, but the build quality was not there. It never left me stranded but had to limp it back a few times.
Now have as 2010 M8 I don't like the handling as much but the build quality is there.
