They have had there fair shares of failures over the last few years so I think using the current motor is a good choice....What about the 800 (which has been having problems).
Iqr? probably. Got some bad news..............its just a new chassis with the 600 in it, no new motors till next year. They want a proven engine too look good till the new chassis proves its self.

Yah they have to have the buggs in the 800 worked out for next year, i dont really care about a 4 stroke.............really like unless its lighter and out performs a 2 stroke than im not going to buy one. My last three polaris sleds have had zero problems, they should just modify the current 600 and 800 to be like a e-tec injection with mercury marines optimax technology and done. If they only have a 600 then it might hurt sales, i dont think people that drive 700s or 800s are going to downgrade just for the chassis, its a sweet sled but the short track dosent fill me needs. A 144 1.75-2" lug rmk 800 would be my pic

Go to the polaris industries web site and the sled is featured, it is a snow crosser or a trail sled. It only has a 121 track but it could be pretty wicked cant tell, it looks really odd like a cross between a dirt bike and a sled. I am interested to see if they can make it work with a 155 or longer track, not sure if there will be enough reliability though. We will see, take a look for yourself, they have video and all.
