Good to hear...ordered a D&D can for it already. thx

One of the guys i ride with has this sled. He is in the 220 range and the sled went where ever he pointed. The sound with the D&D is good, you know when it is on its way and you can pick it out of a crowd.

I didnt jump from the Yamaha Ship because I believe they all have their good points. However I have never rode a sled that made me smile like this one. They will side hill forever will little rider input, the power from a stock sled is amazing. The only complaint I have is the seat is slippery as a greased pig when your try to transition quick so be careful your not hitting the eject button.:d. You going to love it. I was in deep powder in Mcbride and it went everywhere I pointed it. :d:d. It has the biggest Giggle factor of any stock sled period.

Cheers,

I am seriously looking at an M8. Talked to Bret Rassmussan today, the only mod he recommended was the Power Advantage can from Speedwerx. I am going to demo the sled first. Still debating between the 153 and the 162. I guess the LE only came in the 153. I want to ride an XP and a Dragon too. I doubt I will get the chance to ride a Yami. We need more snow first though, otherwise I would be riding this weekend, but will go 4 wheeling instead.

I have a 2009 m8 153le, have about 1000kms on her.The seat sucked so I but a boss highrise which makes transitioning way better.I also put the whole slp setup on y-pipe,pipe and can. This lightens things up.Don't get me wrong this sled rips pretty good and side hills better that any other machine out there, plus your not tired right out at the end of the day like the big 4 stroke riders.BUT! I would like more power now to keep up to all my turbo friends so am going to turbo it and have the best of both worlds-light weight and power!

I had a day and a half (ish) out at Revelstoke. It performed flawlessly other than snapping the handlebars in half. That's rider error though. This engine puts out A LOT of power. I have ridden an '09 and an '09 M8 153" and my '10 feels way more snappy. Of course with the floats, and the skis narrowed up this sled handles like a dream too. Very little rider input is required. I found myself a lot less tired at the end of the day than in previous years.

But they say the 09's are better to turbo cause the 10's have a lighter weaker crank!

who says they hav a lighter weaker crank? lighter yes, weaker y? the only reason the 09 is better for turbo that i know of anyway is that they are cheaper than the tens and if u turbo a ten u have to change the heads so the compression is lower like the 09, so almost the same sled just cheaper

The 2010 M8 is the most awesome sled I've ever ridden!! My hubby bought the Snopro 162 and I seriously have to keep myself off of it because he doesn't get it back after I ride it!! Comparing it to my 08 M8 153....night and day....the '10 will drive circles around it in the deep powder...this thing climbs and the track is sooooo awesome, it stays on top of the snow and jumps right out of the deep stuff from a stand still. I didn't get stuck with this machine at all. The power this machine has is unreal, throttle response is very snappy and that 20 extra horse is very noticeable. You will love this machine.....my hubby is going to add the SLP Pipe kit when it becomes available.....lose the suitcase (-20 pounds) and gain another 9 hp.
