2010 M8 Hcr questiosn

well i just bought a 2010 hcr this past monday and i wanna make it look sharper then it already is .
i would like to paint the pipe because it isnt that nice of condition and also paint the a arms green to match the sled. and tips, types of paint, or any info on this. also i bought the sled used and the steering has a little give to it back and forth. nothing major but enough to worry me. anyone had problems with something loose in the steering or what? or do they always have a little play in em. my m7 didnt do that but it also was a 2006 lol many changes since then. A guy that works with me used to work at rec tech in lloydminister and said all the cats hhad a little play in the steering from the adjustable riser.

oh and what psi should i run my fox float in the rear skid at?

float should be sent to get the Burandt update, paint I would go powdercoat, paint for the pipe I would assume header paint by duplicolor would be fine

thanks man, i'll have to take it to lloydminister at wkm and see if they will do the burandt update. and thanks for the info on the paint. anyone else have pic or anything of there painting under the hood pipe, belt cover and such?
and what about the front zbroz shocks any good or bad with em?

Get hi heat temp for the colour,i think i used 500 degrees it was the highest rating i could find for the colour i wanted and never had a problem. For the actual pipe use super hi temp header paint.

Your guna have to cook the colour parts in a oven to really make it durrable there should be instructions on the can.

like after painting you put them in the oven?
like all the green parts in the pic?

I think the play in your steering is from it being telescopic. You won't notice it when riding.

Thanks. That's what I thought it was I just just curious of why it was like that. Took the sled for a rip to the field and back yesterday. Can't wait till all the pow comes haha. Fixed my shock problem for it at 130 psi. Now all that's left is to make it all pretty under the hood and to paint the a arms green :d
