My brother bought a 2010 hcr when it came out (only because the dealership sold the snopro he put money down on) and said he found my 09 snopro handled better being narrower. We put the snopro front end on it and loves it.

The track needs to be changed to a softer power claw or challenger as it does trench bad in deep snow.

Can't complain about the 800 H.O. Lots of power and very reliable.

If the track does become an issue for you, I'm sure we can have it swapped out in a couple of Tea's :tea: :D

I ride a 2010 m8 and ride with a buddy that has a 2010 hcr. We have rode each other sleds lots and have not noticed much of a difference in the handling it seems like the shocks on the sled make up for the 3 inch wider. No big deal at all. The track is a bit of a digger, but buddy has 1400 miles on his and it is only a little lower on a big pull that my m8. A track change would help but i dont beleive it it necessary. Good luck with it anyways, there a sick sled with a amazing motor,

do you just barter everything for twisted tea or do you ever pay cash for stuff?

Nice sled! I traded off the 11' HCR in my avatar about 3 months ago. Was the best sled I've had yet. I think I had about 80 hours on it. Cracked a primary spider and I snapped a steering post. Other than that, was such a sweet sled. I'm 6'3", 220 lbs and I did notice the extra width on the sled but no problem to toss around although I did order a narrower front end right before I let the sled go. And as stated already, the track will work great in most conditions except the really deep, fluffy pow. I also did the GEO and ELVIS mod and anti-stabs which I felt were great free mods. Enjoy buddy.

I picked up two of them two seasons ago. One for myself and a friend and we were both coming off older M8's. The motor rips. As for the stance I thought it felt wide and it seemed to like to wash out more in a side hill. The track will want to trench a little more, but getting the skid shocks revalved helped a lot and is a lot cheaper than changing to an aftermarket skid or going to a 2.5 extreme. Obviously not as good but it helped a lot. In the end I picked up a 2010 M-series that I found a good deal on and my friend changed his to a narrower front end. Someone on snowest traded him straight up. Either way I don't think you'll be disappointed. I was blown away by how much harder that motor pulls and the track speed you can get with it. And if you do want to get a narrower front end it's an excuse to get some lightweight a-arms.

the ski stance is up to you, mine is narrowed and i find it way better for my style of riding, notice al ittle bit more trenching with the stiffer track but nothing that is stopping me from doing what i want to do. wouldnt worry to much about it unless you want a 2.6 track or somthing :p
