2010 HCR no oil light on?

Hey guys! Just picked up a 2010 HCR 2 weeks ago and now has 40km, rode it around home this weekend to give it a bit of a break in before I head to McBride, and it now says no oil, even though the tank is full? I phoned echo and they said that the plunger sticks in the tank quite often and to put a wire in the tank from the filler cap and jiggle it around to loosen it up. And also said for some reason the ECU throws codes, so restart it, but neither did anything.

Any other suggestions to release it? I'm wondering if this is a common problem or not? My 2009 has never done it. Either way this is a big inconvienice now, hopefully it will be warrantied before the weekend.

In 2010 a/cat changed the style of the oil level sensor,(You really have to find it with a coat hanger to giggle it)..We have replaced a couple,so it's not UNcommon...
