2010 dragon meltdown

A buddy of mine took his dragon in to the dealer and found out that a cylinder was scored and the dealer said it was overheated.Dealer told him that if the light comes on it's to late........it's cooked.....must watch temp. gauge. WTF kind of BS is that....................Anyone heard of this.

my assault gets hot on the trail even more so when you go slower because it's not groomed. I am constantly watching the temp not to exceed 150ish. never seen light come on but I w3as told from SLP that you don't want to push it past there.

ya they are trying to say my 2010 rmk 800 was overheating and they needed a new thermostat for it and i was watching the temp gauge and it was running 120-140
