A buddy and I spent 4 days rippin around in a 2010 Camao SS down in Phoenix 2 weeks ago.... What an Awesome car! I grew up in the Camaro Haydays, owning some of the best, and this thing is WAY BETTER! I took some pics of it to share here.... it was an auto, 406 HP, paddle shift on the wheel. Lots of fun to say the least! Handled like a slot car, accelerated like a Vett! We had a pile of fun on the Freeways?!! 75 to 120 mph in about 10 seconds?

More like 426hp,but that was 1 with a 6 speed.:d We've had 2 sold through our dealership and they are a sexy car.The interior has a retro look. They handle like a Vette cuz they have the corvette chassis and drivetrain.

Saw the concept version of this at Barrett-Jackson last year and the production one is nicer!

I like the new 5th gen better than the 4th generations, even though wheel base is something like 8-9 inches longer its still like half a foot shorter then previous models. I like the retro look of the 67-69 on them, but thought they would have done more interior design to go with it, especially the houndstooth design that became famous with the older camaro's. Still waiting for the hugger orange to come out!!!

And he's right on the hp numbers, the auto SS comes with a 400 L99 in it, but question here is why automatic???? Get the bigger LS3 6.2 making 426 with the T-56!!! Why get a harley with training wheels, same with a muscle car!!!

Sorry... the only interior pic is this sad one of me? You can see the dash and guages are fashioned after the '69 Camaro. They did a great job of combining the retro with the functionality of the modern day. Right between the two Big guages, the speedo and the tack, there is a digital panel combining the two as well... very cool... especially when it reads 125 mph and yur at 3/4 throttle!!!

The Camaro has the Vette drive train, slightly milder, but does not share the Vette chassis? Completely different and unique. Like you said however, the manual comes in a very tastey 426 hp version!!
