2010 800 R bogging

Just bought my son a 2010 Summit XP with the 800R engine.
when I picked it up it had lots of pull, now it will idle fine but as soon as you get on the throttle it Boggs down and is making no RPMs.
changed one bad plug cap and put in new plugs with no change.
any ideas?

Check over you clutching could be a bad bushing or a broken roller in your secondary. Or you might have a bad set of reeds.

I just pulled my E Tec apart, because it was bogging bad and the reeds were toast. It's a lot of work but I would check them.

Check the dess teather is on all the way...

Will not let it rev up to grab the belt

Thanks guys. I checked the dess first and it's ok. Cleaned up the RAVE valves last night but haven't had time to give it a ride.
i guess the next step will be to pull the carbs and clean them up then the reeds. That's about the extent of my mechanical ability!!! Lol
