2010 800 assault.

Had the bog @ 7000 rpm and ratcheting during braking but not anymore. all fixed up with new track, reflashed, fuel wire plugged in, running shell 91 ALWAYS. Found out how to use the engine brake

now only problem is keeping the track side down!!!!!!!

Mr. timbo, I think you should order up the 2011 sled and trade in your '09.

I did not have any issues with my 800 Assault, besides operator error with an A Arm.;)

Apparently when warrenty has covered the value of your sled thats it, no more warrenty. complete engine was around 5 grand installed, 1 piston and cyl. another 1800. only a couple hundred left. thats all they will cover. its not my dealer, i drive an hour and a half east of here. they are one of the better dealers around.

Shouldn't they give you a whole new sled then?? Obviously they built you a lemon so they should replace it. Like WTF??? They build a POS and the customer is the one that suffers. bullch!t!! Polaris can fawk off IMO if that's how they are going to treat customers. Build a better sled, problem solved. I would tell them I'm calling a lawyer and the newspaper and see what corporate Polaris has to say (I realize it's not the dealer that's giving you issues - he's just doing his job).

The thing my dealer and i can't figure out is that i ran it for 2 years with no issues till the crank broke this year. got a 2010 engine and now it keeps scorring pistons. it's almost like the mapping of the 08 doesn't work with the 2010 motor. dealer is looking into it.

As far as warrenty exceeding the value of the sled I call BS,I payed 11300 for my dragon and to date have had over14000 in billed repairs. Not a word said to me about it.Dealer should check for any ecu updates, reflashes,if the same mapping is called for there shouldn't be a problem.I would have them check all sensors on the motor and also check the stator. The stator was my problem all along, low voltage a higher rpm's.It seems like now that Polaris has a newer motor out there kicking us to the curb.:nono:
