This was at Chappell on Friday and Saturday awesome powder at least 3 feet!
Lots of stuck sleds snowing heavily which made for poor visibility. Got to try out the 3 inch track:d When the sun comes out it will be even better but was a great trip!:beer:

Geez, you need a couple of good Yammies to get out and break trail, lol. Now where are all those new bolt-ons I ordered...hmmm. Figures it started snowing right after my sled left

Left Allan creek at 5 with tears in my eyes, so much untouched pow we had to leave behind. Prayed for the road to be closed but no luck. -1 when we left, fueled up in Hinton with a lovely -25, welcome back to alberta I guess

never been stuck so much in my life. mmy last stuck i had no energy i was ready to walk to the cabin and tobogan back to the truck. didnt take many pics but sure is deep. normally getting stuck isnt so bad you get off your sled and deal with it. the problem was that just getting off your sled and trying to move was the hard part! usually up to my shoulders in most parts. remember the pictures of the sleds in the pictures they float alot higher than when you actually step off your sled

Got back home from an amazing weekend in valemount last night. Here's a small seq(had to resize to upload) to show how sick the pow was in Chappel down on the lake on Friday, counting down the days until I'm back for more.

Even with the truck issues, one sled with issues, trailer tire issue and the cold causing problems at the shack, makes it all worth while to get out in the hills.

Ok, rant done, I feel better.
