Why do you want to change it? You never really gave a reason.

There are many people who insist that you should change it to a 19, but one comment I read from Kelsey at RKTek was to not lower it because it would produce inconsistent RPM's and performance can suffer.

If you are going to do the clutching, then do that and dial it in first, then decide if you need to play with the gearing. Why create gremlins you may end up chasing down the road and end up blaming it on Joey's clutching.

the reason i want to go to 19th is because last winther i was having problems in deep wet snow,i was loseeng power on steep climbs, the rpms where droping......!i think that same of that problemes i will solve with te dj clutch kit....but still..

Go with the 19 it works as long as your clutching is setup:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::d Gotta drink till the snow flys. The off season is so hard on my liver.:d

X2 I have 154 and changed to 19 and have dj kit and all is great, but I don't do the crazy chutes. You will get every answer you can think of here, LOL

21 is too tall. you need 20 or 19. If you weigh more than 230, go with a 19.
It gives the drivetrain a mechanical advantage.
