Just picked up a 2009 600 Rmk a while back, don't know too much about the polaris's. Just wondering if they are running good stock or what should a guy do too them to perform a bit better, any little mod's ? Gonna keep this one fairly stock for a spring sled and for the other half too ride as well. What should they pull for rpm 8200 ? And what weight's and spring should i run for the mountains ? Any little info you guy's have is appreciated.

Thanks
Scot

Throw some 10-60 weights in her and she will be good for the mountains and back home. Pull the anvil and put a can in there to save 10 pounds. Preload the front springs about 1/2 way and drop the limiter strap one hole. Then it's gas, oil and go. Great sled choice....you'll love it.

The 2008 700 I had did 8350 rpm max. the factory weights are for the mountains, weights for here I believe are 65 or 66 but check with a dealer. These work well out of the box, my opinion want more power buy a bigger machine. When you tweak these things more problems only my opinion do what you want.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips or good ideas for this sled that's all. Its my spring time sled, have a mod sled for the winter, just bought this for a fun sled in the sping  Which cans are working good on these sleds, cause i know some are actually worse than the stock one.

The only thing I had done was a can MRBP, sound was good, I went to a 2008 ski doo 800 XP. The polairis as far as throwing it around and just tossing is considerably better than the doo doo. Both were equal in length 154 & 155 inch.

I have an 09 800,only mod.....MBRP can and filter to keep the snow out of the headlight adjuster and a dab of black silicone in the drain hole in the middle of the dash.
