Lots of different opinions on clutching, and every vendor will claim that their setup is the "best" On my wife's 08 M8, I ran a 38-34 RKT torsional kit with adjustable weights. Worked well, good backshift, cool clutches, etc. I installed this setup after blowing the original belt at 170 miles, the replacement belt was still in excellent condition when I sold the sled 1000 miles later. I believe the benefits of a torsional kit is that there is less spring pressure (heat) applied to the belt. The reason compression secondaries were created was for electronic engine reverse, as a torsional kit doesn't work well when spinning backward. Your 08 would work well with a torsional kit as it has a mechanical reverse in the diamond drive... hope this helps.
